The Furlong

The unit was clean and tidy, looked like it had a recent refurbishment. Parking to our unit was right at the back door, as promised when we booked. The front of the unit opens onto a lawn, looking into the units on the other side though still felt private. When we returned around 8pm, it appears that they cater for truck drivers overnighting in Hawera, though we had a good nites sleep and were not disturbed when they left presumably early the next morning. The Check in was friendly and we left the key in the unit the next morning when we left.

I was very surprised at the facility, as he looks tired on the outside. However I couldn't fault the room we stayed in. Has recently be refurbished. Was exceptionally clean.

Good location. I liked that it was part of a bigger facility and office staff also ran the servo/convenience store—good variety of products.

Located on the main road so relatively easy to locate. A small grocery store adjacent to the accommodation allowed for quick and easy purchase of essential items. Accommodation surprisingly quiet for being a main road, ample parking, good shower. Close to town and an excellent restaurant directly across the road.

Our one-night stay was delightful. The room was spotless and cozy, equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bed linens and bathroom were especially clean and neat. The Furlong Team was incredibly helpful and attentive. Both the check-in and check-out processes were straightforward and hassle-free. For the price we paid, it exceeded expectations.
